Our story began in the lobby at a resort in Playa Del Carmen where we were both attending the wedding of our friends. Over four days, exchanged glances turned into small conversations and small conversations turned into dancing together at the wedding.

When it was finally time to leave, we were relieved to discover we only lived 10 minutes apart back in Chicago. We planned for our first date, June 12th, 2022 for brunch and a movie, ditched the movie and ended up spending hours talking in Palmer Square Park where Patrick would later propose. We’ve been together ever since!

When it came time to choose where we wanted to get married, we knew we wanted somewhere peaceful, a place where our friends and family could slow down for a weekend, connect with nature, and truly spend meaningful time together. Michigan has become that sanctuary for us outside of the city, and we hope to continue creating memories there for years to come.
